The Sales Lead role at RNDC plays a vital role in advancing and securing sales within an assigned territory. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to managing both existing accounts and new business development. The Sales Lead is expected to represent the voice of the customer, providing valuable feedback and insights to the company while ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction. The role involves educating customers on product selections, utilizing consultative selling techniques to introduce new products and fill gaps in current product distribution. Frequent visitation and relationship-building with accounts are central to maximizing revenue potential. The Sales Lead must develop and execute individualized sales plans tailored to customer needs and geographic areas, aligning their selling strategies with the customer’s business goals and objectives. Additionally, if there is no dedicated Support representative assigned, the Sales Lead will take on responsibilities such as merchandising activities, including stocking shelves and building displays. This role may require flexibility to work nights and weekends to support promotional and account activities. The position demands continual development of sales skills and in-depth knowledge of RNDC’s products, services, and customer base, ensuring that the Sales Lead remains a knowledgeable, effective, and consultative partner for both RNDC and its clients.
