The role available with Planned Companies is for a Concierge, a pivotal position that directly influences the tenant and guest experience. This is a temporary position with a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour and a defined work schedule that includes Wednesday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. The Concierge acts as the first point of contact within the building, responsible for greeting, assisting, and directing tenants, visitors, and vendors in a manner that reflects the company's commitment to hospitality and professionalism. This position requires someone who is both courteous and knowledgeable about the local area, able to provide personalized services and recommendations to enhance each tenant's lifestyle.
Beyond routine tasks such as answering phones, monitoring the lobby, and controlling access cards and keys, the Concierge also plays a central role in building strong relationships with tenants. They assist with scheduling reservations, organizing on-site events, and offering helpful referrals to local attractions, dining, entertainment, and transportation options. The ability to cultivate a unique and memorable experience for each resident based on their individual needs is a key feature of this role.
To succeed in this position, candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a friendly and self-assured manner, and the ability to multitask effectively. Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary is also required. Experience in a similar concierge or security role of three or more years is highly valued, along with a solid understanding of the local community and attractions.
