The Delivery Driver position is a vital role within this dynamic company, centered in Plainfield, IN, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule with early start times ranging from 12am to 6am. This role affords a unique balance of home daily schedules and competitive compensation, including a $5,000 sign-on incentive and an annual earning potential up to $90,000. Delivery drivers are entrusted with representing the company professionally while building rapport and strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members. Responsibilities for the position encompass comprehensive delivery and logistics duties, including conducting thorough safety checks such as pre-trip and post-trip inspections, inspecting shipments for secure loading and accuracy, and completing all required freight paperwork. The role also includes managing returns and damage control, safely unloading products, and securely locking up equipment at the end of shifts. The Delivery Driver collaborates closely with other team members to maintain an organized, clean work environment and ensure effective communication across various stakeholders. - At least 12 months of commercial driving experience
- High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent
- Valid CDL A license
- Compliance with all state licensing and certification requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years
- Successful completion of post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass a road test and hold a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure one
- Able to lift and transport product cases/freight of varying sizes and weights (10-90 pounds) using appropriate equipment
