The Marketing Coordinator, Email and Engagement, is a vital role within HGO's fast-paced audiences department, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. This full-time position focuses on developing and executing email marketing campaigns and supporting broader advertising and promotional initiatives designed to promote HGO’s brand, increase ticket sales, improve subscriber retention, and boost overall audience engagement. The role requires collaborating closely with colleagues from marketing, communications, philanthropy, and other departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging and brand representation. The Coordinator plays a crucial part in various audience growth efforts, including audience engagement tactics, new audience outreach, and strategic marketing promotions targeting both existing and prospective patrons. Responsibilities include maintaining the email marketing calendar, creating and proofreading email content, coordinating cross-departmental asset development, and tracking campaign effectiveness through detailed reporting. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator assists in managing promotional plans for a wide range of HGO initiatives, including affinity groups, theme nights, add-on offerings, and community outreach events. This position also supports multi-channel advertising efforts encompassing paid, organic, trade, and barter media, and is involved in grassroots marketing activations at local cultural events such as Giving Voice, Carols on the Green, and Miller Outdoor Theater. Administrative support tasks, such as data entry, report generation, inventory management, and office organization, are also integral to this role.   • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or sales preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required
  • proficiency in writing required
  • experience working in email marketing platforms preferred
  • experience with CRM databases especially Tessitura is a plus
