The Event Coordinator role at the Bloomington, IN Michaels store involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating various events, including children's birthday parties and craft classes, to create memorable, fun, and engaging experiences for customers of all ages. This part-time or full-time position focuses on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring fast and friendly checkout experiences, and maintaining operational standards. The coordinator will act as an ambassador of the Michaels brand by creating an inviting atmosphere where creativity thrives. Key responsibilities include managing multiple events simultaneously, engaging participants with craft demonstrations, face painting, and guiding party activities, as well as facilitating add-ons like balloons and goody bags to meet company standards.
