The position being offered is located at the White Sands Hotel in Honolulu, HI, a part of Springboard's impressive portfolio of hotels. This role is hourly, with a consistent wage of $20.50 per hour. The primary responsibility is to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in guest rooms, corridors, elevators, and all assigned hotel areas. It also involves delivering guest requests such as irons, towels, and extra pillows to guestrooms. This role is vital in maintaining the guest experience by ensuring that all rooms and public spaces meet rigorous cleanliness and maintenance standards. This position requires an individual who is physically capable of walking, kneeling, stooping, and standing during the entire shift and can exert medium physical effort when necessary. The successful candidate will work closely with the housekeeping team, reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, Executive Housekeeper, or Housekeeping Manager. The position demands open availability, including the ability to work evening shifts. Attention to detail and efficiency are key attributes needed to excel in this role. Tasks include stripping beds, cleaning and making beds, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning kitchen and bathroom areas, and reporting maintenance issues. The role demands excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and management in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner. • High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or related field
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings
