We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the hotel's second in command, playing an integral part in the seamless day-to-day functioning of the entire operation. Your responsibilities will include direct interaction and collaboration with various department heads to develop, implement, and enforce hotel policies that ensure exceptional standards and operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance administrative duties with direct guest interaction, making you the face of the hotel leadership team whenever the General Manager is not available. The Assistant General Manager will serve as a trusted deputy to the General Manager, supporting them in administrative tasks while stepping in as the acting General Manager whenever necessary. You will have a strong influence on staffing decisions, including interviewing and hiring new employees, as well as overseeing department performance to guarantee adherence to established procedures and policies. This position demands a service-oriented professional capable of resolving guest complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring the utmost guest satisfaction and loyalty. This role is ideal for a team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces challenges with flexibility and resilience. Working in a vibrant hotel setting will require you to be on your feet more than half of the time, engaging actively with both employees and guests.   • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or a related field
  • at least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry
  • ability to fluently speak, read and understand English

  • willingness to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
