The Process Technician role in the LED Products Pilot Line is a high-visibility position that plays a critical role in the development and refinement of high-power LED assembly processes. This position is part of a dynamic team focused on accelerating the time to market for new LED products through meticulous process development and comprehensive testing protocols. The role operates on a 12-hour day shift schedule, specifically from 6 AM to 6 PM Sunday through Tuesday, with an end of shift on Wednesday, making it essential for candidates to be flexible and committed to this shift pattern. Notably, this position is not eligible for company sponsorship.
The Process Technician’s responsibilities center around hands-on involvement with mechanical assembly, optical and electrical testing, and the in-depth characterization of LEDs. This role demands a strong understanding of the complete assembly process flow, requiring the technician to develop and maintain detailed procedural documentation and work instructions to ensure consistency and quality throughout the manufacturing process. The technician will collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate actionable insights that help optimize processes and support product development efforts for next-generation LED solutions. As part of a collaborative team, the Process Technician must troubleshoot and resolve processing challenges, recommending preventive maintenance strategies and assisting equipment engineering teams with tool troubleshooting and scheduled upkeep.
