The role of an Airline Services Baggage Handler / Ramp Agent at Lehigh Valley Airline Services involves a diverse set of responsibilities centered around aircraft and baggage handling operations. This position demands a hands-on approach to supporting aircraft services that include towing, marshalling, lavatory and potable water servicing, and de-icing. Baggage Handlers / Ramp Agents ensure that the aircraft cabin is clean and stocked, assisting with security searches and the loading and unloading of luggage with special care to fragile or sensitive items. In addition to managing luggage, individuals in this role are required to operate and maintain heavy motorized equipment such as baggage tractors, belt loaders, and push-back tugs safely and efficiently. They play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe ramp area, free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD), and assist with snow removal and general housekeeping duties to keep the environment suitable for aircraft operations.
