By managing the seating flow strategically, the Host helps balance the workload of serving staff, ensuring each guest receives attentive service. The Host is also knowledgeable about menu items and promotions to assist guests effectively and may be tasked with selling merchandise.
The To-Go role focuses on managing takeout orders received via phone, delivery apps, online platforms, and walk-ins. This role requires precision in order taking, ensuring accuracy, timely preparation, and packaging of orders while providing friendly service. Responsibilities include suggestive selling to enhance guest satisfaction and sales, handling payments, and staying informed about menu updates and specials to address customer inquiries confidently.
