The position requires a leader who is capable of managing kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and quality. This role demands a culinary professional with formal education, preferably with a 2-year accredited culinary degree or equivalent, and at least three years of experience in a high-volume, hospitality-driven environment. The ideal candidate is proficient in food safety certifications such as ServSafe and has demonstrated supervisory leadership skills. Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and menu forecasting systems, is also essential for effective management and compliance tracking.
