This internship focuses on immersing participants into the Housekeeping discipline, providing hands-on exposure by shadowing critical leaders and working closely with both associates and management teams integral to the day-to-day operations of a hotel’s Housekeeping department. During the program, interns will gain practical knowledge by attending departmental and leadership meetings, mastering hotel systems including Property Management Systems (PMS), and learning effective labor management techniques to optimize workforce scheduling and control labor costs. The program aims to provide a solid foundation that prepares interns for long-term, rewarding careers in hospitality, equipping them with the skills and experiences necessary for professional growth within this dynamic industry. Compensation for this internship ranges between $13.00 and $20.00 per hour, with no service charge or discretionary bonus eligibility. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a hospitality program preferred
• Ability to handle physical tasks including pushing and pulling equipment up to 100 lbs
