The role of an International Cabin Attendant based in Teterboro, New Jersey is an essential part of Jet Aviation’s commitment to providing an exceptional in-flight experience. This position involves not only attending to the comfort and convenience of passengers onboard each flight but also managing the catering services alongside important administrative and training functions when not flying. As a vital member of the flight services team, the cabin attendant ensures that every detail from safety protocols to meal services is meticulously handled, reflecting the luxury and precision expected in business aviation.
The International Cabin Attendant will work onsite at the Teterboro base, operating within the Flight Services category and designated under the Technicians / Crew career level. The position demands a flexible and customer-focused approach, balancing operational responsibilities such as coordinating with pilots, maintenance, and cleaning crews to ensure the aircraft is pristine and fully prepared for each flight. Additionally, the attendant conducts preflight equipment checks, enforces flight safety regulations, and provides passenger briefings on safety features and emergency procedures.
Beyond flight duties, the role involves significant behind-the-scenes activities including planning and preparing menus, purchasing provisions to meet client preferences, and maintaining detailed records such as client profile updates, catering reports, and post-trip documentation. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical as the cabin attendant serves as an ambassador of Jet Aviation’s brand values — trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency. This includes managing expense accounts and contributing to team training initiatives to maintain high standards of safety and service.
