The company is currently seeking a Lead Ramp Agent to join its Ramp Operations team. This position is pivotal in managing the outbound bag room and overseeing the loading and unloading of luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. The Lead Ramp Agent will also be responsible for operating small specialized commercial vehicles, ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient handling of materials. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting, repeated pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching. It is an active role that demands a commitment to safety standards and operational protocols. The Lead Ramp Agent will supervise and support other Ramp Agents to ensure all duties meet Menzies and airline standards for professionalism, safety, and efficiency. In addition to hands-on work, this role includes reading and interpreting critical flight documentation such as aircraft weight and balance load sheets, hazardous material labels, loading manifests, and baggage routing tags. The candidate must maintain load integrity and safety compliance during flight dispatch. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly wage of $18.00, with advancement opportunities available for promotion to supervisory and managerial roles. • Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must have high school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Ramp Agent
• Prior Ramp/Airline experience required
