This position involves supporting the daily scheduled maintenance plan within the maintenance department by coordinating various tasks critical to aircraft safety and operational readiness. The role involves overseeing the scheduling of the Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL), verifying maintenance blocks, setting task priorities, and distributing work packages among maintenance bases. As a Maintenance Planner, the individual will be responsible for managing routine maintenance activities such as inspections, component changes, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and engineering orders. The planner will also conduct periodic reviews for 7-day and 30-day maintenance cycles and work to address any large-scale maintenance needs that could impact flight operations.
The position demands excellent communication skills to coordinate with external vendors and internal teams such as Production Control, Inventory, and Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance System (CASS).
