We are currently looking to fill the role of Senior Corporate Accounting Manager at HMC's Wichita Corporate Office located in Wichita, Kansas. The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of $95,000 and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including 401K and opportunities for career advancement within the company’s expanding operations. The Senior Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and managing the general ledger accounts. This role involves participating in the preparation and review of financial budgets and performance projections, ensuring compliance with payroll processes, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions. The position also requires expertise in conducting thorough internal audits, performing monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and filing monthly tax returns for sales, hotel, beverage, and other applicable taxes. The manager will respond to information requests, assist with financial audits, and support the Director of Accounting as needed. Adaptability to a dynamic workload and effective communication with both hotel and corporate staff are crucial for success in this role. Candidates should possess strong mathematical and analytical skills, be proficient in computer accounting software, particularly Sage ERP (preferred but not mandatory), and demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields considered a plus, along with at least five years of hotel accounting experience.
