We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Barback to join our team at Olive & Sea, the hotel's signature restaurant and bar. This role is integral in supporting the bar operations to deliver outstanding guest service and seamless beverage experiences. As a Barback, you will be responsible for assisting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and properly maintained throughout shifts, contributing directly to the overall efficiency and atmosphere of the restaurant. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in customer service, with previous barback experience considered a strong plus. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling that includes AM and PM shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed, offering a competitive hourly wage of $20.00.
The position requires a high level of attentiveness to detail and proactive teamwork. Responsibilities include retrieving and verifying stock from storage, preparing garnishes and beverages, maintaining inventory levels for items such as glassware, ice, and condiments, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of all bar areas in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Working closely with bartenders, you will help maintain the flow of service by promptly replenishing supplies and assisting with routine bar maintenance, including managing beer kegs and taps.
