The Dining Room Attendant (DRA) role at Valley Senior Living plays a crucial part in enhancing residents' dining experiences. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling options, ranging from 4 to 30 hours per week, with shift times set at 7:00 am to 9:00 am, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will assist residents by helping them to their assigned seats and monitoring interactions to promote a positive dining environment. You will also document food and fluid intake accurately using Point of Care (POC) systems and assist residents to and from the dining room when necessary. Additional duties include distributing fresh water to assigned rooms and adhering to safety protocols such as standard precautions and isolation procedures.
