As part of this commitment, we are currently seeking a motivated and personable Host or Hostess to join our front-of-house team. This role is critical as it acts as the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their entire visit and ensuring their experience starts on a positive note. As a Host or Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly and promptly, always with a smile that immediately makes them feel welcomed. This role is essential to creating a positive first impression and involves managing the flow of the dining area efficiently and courteously. In addition to warmly welcoming guests, your duties will include opening doors for arriving and departing guests, accommodating special requests such as booster seats, highchairs, or assistance for those with disabilities, and managing both walk-in and online waitlists to maintain smooth service. Additionally, you will handle communication responsibilities such as answering phone calls, taking orders for to-go meals, entering orders accurately into the system, and ensuring timely packaging and delivery of to-go orders, including delivering to vehicles when necessary. Supporting servers as needed by assisting with guest requests, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean dining environment by cleaning tables will also be part of your routine tasks. This dynamic position requires someone who can multitask efficiently and maintain a positive and professional demeanor throughout their shift.
