Currently, Colorado Chautauqua is hiring a full-time, benefited, non-exempt Houseperson to join their dedicated Housekeeping team. This vital role is compensated at $19 per hour plus tips. The Houseperson will be integral to delivering a high-quality visitor experience to Chautauqua's day and overnight guests, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and guest services are managed efficiently. Working alongside the housekeeping staff, the Houseperson’s responsibilities include a variety of tasks ranging from assisting with housekeeping duties to maintaining the public buildings and contributing to excellent customer service. This position requires someone who is highly detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment, ready to meet daily deadlines without compromising service quality. The role includes working shifts that cover weekends and occasional evenings, and it demands strong teamwork capabilities with a diverse set of colleagues and guests alike. Successful applicants will be punctual, reliable, and possess an energetic, resourceful attitude. They must also hold a valid Colorado driver’s license and demonstrate a commitment to upholding the Chautauqua’s standard of excellence.
