The role available is for a Housekeeping Supervisor at Residence Inn Tukwila, located at 16201 W. Valley Hwy, Tukwila, WA. The Housekeeping Supervisor is a pivotal position responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions within assigned sections of the hotel. This role includes overseeing Room Attendant performance to ensure that cleanliness and productivity standards meet the hotel’s high expectations. In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager, the Supervisor assumes their duties, including inspecting VIP rooms and reporting their status to the Front Office. The Supervisor ensures the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping equipment and areas, such as carts, linen closets, control closets, stairways, and landings. They maintain key control, handle lost and found items, and ensure timely recordkeeping of daily assignments.
Part of the Supervisor’s responsibilities also includes monitoring daily assignments to ensure that every Room Attendant and House Attendant has a work assignment, maintaining communication with other departments through active use of a pager or radio, and reporting on out-of-order room statuses. This position involves initiating and following up on work orders for maintenance and repairs, assisting with staff training, and potentially performing cleaning tasks as business needs dictate. The role also encompasses managing biannual cleaning projects and maintaining a standard of overall guest satisfaction. The position is an hourly compensated role, demanding individuals who are detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic hospitality environment.                 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - At least two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred
 - Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
 - Ability to stand during entire shift
