Within this reputable establishment, the Housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the club’s high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, which are essential to the LYC experience. The position of Housekeeper at Larchmont Yacht Club is an hourly role paying $19.00 per hour, reporting directly to the Director of Support Services. This role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout all guest and staff areas of the club, including guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other Club facilities. 
Housekeepers are responsible for a variety of tasks such as thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing spaces to meet club standards, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture and fixtures, making beds, replacing linens, and restocking amenities in guest rooms. Additionally, Housekeepers manage the club’s laundry needs by washing, drying, and folding linens and towels. They also ensure housekeeping carts and storage closets are stocked with necessary supplies, and clean mirrors, windows, baseboards, and high-touch surfaces to maintain impeccable hygiene. The role also entails sanitizing bathrooms, tubs, sinks, and shower areas while reporting maintenance issues, safety concerns, and the readiness of rooms. Team collaboration is important, as Housekeepers attend department meetings and may be assigned additional tasks as necessary.
