The Janitor/Housekeeping position at Kenco Logistics is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse, distribution center, and office spaces. This role focuses on performing heavy cleaning duties to ensure a sanitary and orderly environment for all employees and visitors. It involves various tasks including floor maintenance by vacuuming and mopping, operating cleaning machinery like floor sweepers, and managing waste disposal effectively by emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners. The role also includes cleaning windows, glass surfaces, restrooms, and stocking the supply room with necessary cleaning materials. Responsible candidates will ensure that walkways remain free of debris and spills, keeping the parking lot litter-free, and promptly reporting safety violations to management. In addition to cleaning duties, the janitor will support miscellaneous tasks assigned by their supervisor, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. This job requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
