This full-time, evening shift role plays a crucial part in creating a comfortable, safe, and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors. As part of the environmental team, the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide undertakes a variety of responsibilities that include housekeeping services, laundry duties, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The position demands an individual who is detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated to contribute to the overall care and atmosphere of the health center. Team members in this role are tasked with maintaining cleaning schedules for designated areas, coordinating isolation procedures with nursing services, and following strict safety regulations to minimize risks and hazards. Interaction with residents is conducted respectfully, protecting their privacy and personal property rights at all times. This role also requires the reporting of unsafe or hazardous conditions to supervisors for immediate resolution. Handling of soiled linens, including those requiring isolation precautions, is a critical component of the Laundry Aide's duties, ensuring the proper use of protective clothing and strict adherence to established laundry procedures.
