This role is based at the Residence Inn Franklin located at 4 Forge Parkway, Franklin, MA. The House Attendant position is a full-time, hourly role starting at $15.00 per hour. The primary responsibility of the House Attendant is to maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all designated hotel areas and equipment to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can contribute effectively to the overall guest experience through cleanliness, organization, and friendly service. The House Attendant will perform daily tasks such as buffing marble floors, shampooing carpets in public spaces, and shampooing furniture as required to maintain the aesthetic and hygiene standards of the hotel. Additionally, the role involves delivering various items to guestrooms, including express checkout materials and newspapers, providing luggage assistance in a courteous and efficient manner, and handling lost and found items according to hotel policies. Knowledge of emergency procedures is essential, as the House Attendant may be called upon to assist in ensuring guest safety during emergencies. Maintaining hotel equipment in proper working order and ensuring its storage in designated areas is also a key part of this role. The House Attendant may be assigned special projects by the Housekeeping Manager and is expected to complete these tasks diligently. This multifaceted role requires standing for the duration of the shift and the physical capability to occasionally exert significant force when moving objects, all while maintaining professional communication with employees and guests at all levels.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
