• At least one year of custodial or housekeeping experience preferably in a college institutional or commercial setting
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods safe handling of cleaning chemicals and familiarity with materials and tools used in custodial work
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs climb stairs and perform tasks requiring repetitive motions and prolonged periods of standing
• A strong sense of accountability attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Dependability time management skills and a strong work ethic to meet deadlines and follow cleaning schedules
• Ability to communicate effectively solve minor problems and report maintenance needs promptly
