American Cruise Lines is the largest U.S. cruise company dedicated to providing unique and intimate experiences that explore America's rivers and coasts. With a robust fleet of finely crafted small cruise ships, we offer our guests an opportunity to discover America's rich history, diverse landscapes, and vibrant cultures in comfort and style. Our fleet sails across over 50 itineraries throughout more than 35 states, making us an industry leader in the small ship cruise segment. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, safety, and outstanding hospitality. Our company values — optimism, commitment, patriotism, and merit — are deeply embedded in everything we do. These values guide our mission to share America's story on the finest American ships and create memorable experiences for our both guests and crew alike. We are currently seeking Housekeepers to join our team for the 2026 cruise season. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction aboard our ships. As a Housekeeper, you will work within our shipboard hotel environment, supporting the delivery of top-tier hospitality services. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 28 weeks, a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team while traveling across the United States. The position offers wages ranging from $1,000 to $1,400 per week along with additional bonuses. With room and board covered on board, as well as travel to and from your assigned vessel, uniforms, and paid training included, this role presents an excellent chance to save money while gaining valuable hospitality experience in the cruise industry. The Housekeeper role involves creating and maintaining living and guest areas that are clean, safe, and inviting. You will be expected to ensure staterooms, facilities, and common spaces meet our meticulous standards for cleanliness and comfort. Interaction with guests is also a key part of the job, as greeting and addressing inquiries promptly and kindly reflects the personalized service American Cruise Lines is known for. Beyond routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies, housekeepers may also assist during special events like afternoon teas and cocktail parties, extending hospitality in unique ways. Our housekeepers operate in an environment that requires physical stamina, work ethic, and a positive attitude. The ability to work long days, seven days per week, for the duration of the contract, combined with maintaining composure under pressure, is essential for success. This role serves as an excellent entry point into the hospitality and cruise industry, offering career growth opportunities within American Cruise Lines for those interested in advancing into management positions.
