This job opening is for a Housekeeper role within one of Covenant Living's care campuses. The Housekeeper’s primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility by performing cleaning duties, minor maintenance, and assisting with various campus services. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently are vital. The Housekeeper will routinely follow a scheduled cleaning plan aligned with departmental standards and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both residents and staff. The individual will be tasked with maintaining floors, handling spills, managing waste removal, assisting with resident transfers, and performing project cleaning tasks including high-touch areas such as vents, windows, and light fixtures. The role also involves minor maintenance work like changing light bulbs and batteries as necessary. Candidates should have some high school education and prior housekeeping or general maintenance experience. Effective communication skills are essential, as the Housekeeper will interact with residents and staff members. The position may require weekend availability and a willingness to work collaboratively within the supportive campus community. This role offers a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $19.55 per hour, with the final compensation dependent on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
