We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeper to join our dynamic care team at Lanessa Extended Care located in Webster. This position offers a consistent 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. schedule with weekly pay at $16 an hour. Working alongside our compassionate team and engaging with residents, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact both your professional and personal life positively. As part of our housekeeping team, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within the facility. Your work ensures that residents’ rooms and common areas are sanitary and welcoming, which contributes directly to the overall well-being of those in our care.
In this position, you will perform day-to-day housekeeping activities that uphold our facility’s high cleanliness standards. Duties include wet mopping floors, shampooing carpets according to schedule, promptly attending to spills, emptying trash, cleaning bed rails and furniture, and ensuring that all surfaces, including countertops and windowsills, remain spotless. Furthermore, you will participate in scheduled stripping, sealing, and refinishing of floors, and inspections of resident rooms to guarantee sanitation, order, and safety are maintained. We provide on-the-job training, so prior experience is not mandatory, though preference is given to those with housekeeping experience in nursing homes or related medical settings.
