The Housekeeper position at Byron Health Center is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary conditions crucial for a healthcare environment. This role involves providing comprehensive cleaning services within resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to guarantee a safe and welcoming space for residents, their families, and the care team. Working primarily during the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with an every-other-weekend and holiday schedule, the housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are cleaned according to strict facility policies, while always respecting residents’ privacy and dignity. This position requires a reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic individual who is motivated by the prospect of making a meaningful difference every day. In this role, the housekeeper will handle various tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting equipment, washing walls and windows, emptying waste, including biohazardous materials in strict compliance with protocols, and maintaining utility and storage spaces.
