We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our community to the highest standards. The position offers a minimum starting pay of $15.00 per hour, reflecting our recognition of the vital contributions housekeepers make in ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for residents and staff. The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with flexibility on days, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
As a Full-Time Housekeeper at Covenant Woods, you will be responsible for cleaning all areas including cottages, apartments, assisted living spaces, and healthcare units. This role requires minimal supervision, which means you should be a proactive and independent worker who takes pride in thorough and efficient cleaning. Your work will directly impact the comfort and safety of our residents by upholding stringent cleanliness protocols. Duties will include performing day-to-day cleaning tasks, managing cleaning supplies and equipment, and maintaining floors, laundry machines, and other facilities used by residents and staff.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of housekeeping methods and cleaning equipment, good communication skills, and the physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting. Experience in housekeeping is preferred, and familiarity with floor cleaning equipment and laundry machines is advantageous.
