Housekeeper - $13 to $20 per HOUR

TerraBella Senior Living is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join the team at their community located at Summit Place of South Park. This role is integral in maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the community, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. The Housekeeper will perform scheduled cleaning duties in various areas including apartment homes, common spaces, lounges, and offices, adhering to daily, weekly, and monthly plans. Key responsibilities include sweeping, dusting, mopping floors and stairways, vacuuming rugs and carpets, cleaning and sanitizing lavatories and other fixtures, and managing the community's laundry operations. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail and prioritize the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals while complying with safety standards and fire codes. The Housekeeper will also handle trash and refuse collection and report any repair or supply needs promptly. This position demands physical capability to perform various tasks such as standing, walking, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and executing repetitive hand and arm movements. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• previous housekeeping experience preferred
• effective communication skills in the primary language of the residents
• ability to read and understand safety and maintenance instructions
• physical capability to perform duties including standing, walking, lifting and other physical activities
• must demonstrate interest in working with seniors
• ability to interact courteously with guests, residents, and staff
• able to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds
