The Sous Chef Tournant at Chevy Chase Club is a key member of the Culinary Team, responsible for supporting the Executive Sous Chefs and culinary leadership by rotating through various kitchen stations and outlets. This full-time role requires a highly skilled culinary professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and possesses strong leadership qualities. The position offers a competitive annual salary between $65,000 and $70,000 and is non-exempt, meaning overtime and extended hours are expected in line with management responsibilities.
As a Sous Chef Tournant, you will be entrusted with maintaining consistent quality and presentation standards for all menu items, ensuring that the club’s high standards of culinary excellence are upheld. You will also be integral in the training, mentoring, and development of the culinary staff across multiple stations, supporting their growth and ensuring operational efficiency. Collaboration with the culinary leadership team is essential in creating seasonal and innovative menus that delight members and guests alike. Your expertise and adaptability will be highly valued as you rotate through different kitchen outlets, showcasing your culinary skill set while fostering a seamless kitchen operation.

The work schedule is full-time, averaging 50 hours per week, with varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
