Village on the Park Steeplechase, a community within Cardinal Bay, is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Housekeeper to join its dedicated team. The Housekeeper role is vital to maintaining the community's cleanliness, safety, comfort, and sanitary standards. This position ensures that residents live in an environment that is both welcoming and well-maintained, directly contributing to their well-being and quality of life. The Housekeeper performs daily janitorial tasks that help keep common areas and private spaces clean and orderly. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and a commitment to upholding high safety and cleanliness standards. As a Housekeeper, you will work closely with staff, residents, and guests to help maintain Cardinal Bay's mission of fostering a vibrant and caring community. You will be responsible for tasks such as cleaning restrooms, emptying trash and recycle bins, vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and replenishing supplies. Additionally, you will assist with preparing vacant apartments and maintaining the security and proper control of equipment and inventory. The role follows a part-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., including rotating holiday shifts. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of related experience in residential or hotel cleaning preferred
• great customer service attitude
• ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests
• knowledge of, and skills in general janitorial and cleaning responsibilities
• ability to use janitorial equipment including floor scrubbing equipment and vacuum cleaners
• ability to follow written and oral instructions
• able to work independently or work with others in the completion of assigned tasks
• must be willing to undergo a routine background check
