Additionally, shift differentials are offered depending on location, position, and shift. This position is part-time, requiring four days a week including weekend availability. The role available at SolarisHealthCare Lake City requires individuals to perform general cleaning duties and other support tasks for the nursing center and special events. Working in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and SolarisHealthCare's established policies and procedures, the responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of furniture, floors, bathrooms, cubicle curtains, and commonly touched areas through proper disinfection practices. Regular inspection of resident rooms for stains on walls, floors, ceiling tiles, and toilet seats, followed by necessary cleaning, is an important duty. The employee must ensure that essential supplies such as soap, sanitizers, toilet paper, and paper towels are replenished daily. Dusting over bed lights, air conditioning vents, and exhaust vents in resident rooms and common areas is required as needed. The position includes reporting any damage noticed during cleaning to supervisors for timely maintenance. Other possible duties include laundry, floor technology support, and additional assignments from supervisors. An important part of the job is to maintain tidy chemical supplies, cleaning products, carts, and janitor closets, ensuring these are ready for use by the next shift. Administrative responsibilities and occasional special activities are part of the job, supporting efficient operation within the healthcare center. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to qualify for this position. While previous experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
