The role of Hourly Sous Chef at The Academy/Zion’s Bank Stadium presents a unique opportunity for culinary professionals eager to join a dynamic team. This position offers an hourly wage between $28.00 and $32.00, with attractive perks like Instapay, which provides early access to wages, and high-interest savings through the EVEN app. As an Hourly Sous Chef, you will be entrusted with directly supervising food service associates to ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will play a vital role in training, directing, and motivating the kitchen team to achieve operational excellence while maintaining compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and health regulations.
This position involves hands-on leadership, managing food preparation processes, overseeing inventory and purchasing strategies to minimize waste and ensure product availability, and maintaining safety standards through HACCP guidelines. Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment properly, monitoring proper food storage with strict adherence to labeling and rotation, and engaging with customers during meal periods to gather feedback are essential components of this role.
