The Area Group Reservations Coordinator role at Hyatt is a pivotal position within the convention services process, primarily responsible for managing group reservations and room inventory. The coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that group bookings are handled accurately and efficiently from inception through to event execution. In this capacity, the Area Group Reservations Coordinator collaborates closely with Event Planning Managers to oversee all aspects of group reservations, including updates to rooming lists, inventory management, billing oversight, and allocation of group concessions. This requires managing a multitude of details to ensure contract terms are properly set up and adhered to, supporting both the operational team and the event planners who rely on accurate information. Beyond managing reservations, the coordinator is responsible for preparing and updating group pickup reports, processing airline manifests, handling rooming lists, and ensuring all communications via phone and email are timely and professional. They serve as a key point of contact for all group-related inquiries, acting as a liaison between various departments such as Front Desk, Sales, Events, and Housekeeping to guarantee a smooth and seamless pre-arrival guest experience. This role requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining a sharp focus on deadlines and follow-up. The coordinator’s work directly impacts guest satisfaction and operational efficiency, making their role indispensable within Hyatt’s event and convention services framework.   • Minimum of 1 year of hotel experience preferred
