We are currently seeking a Part-Time Host/Hostess to join our food service team with open availability including every Sunday. This role is vital for enhancing the overall dining experience for inpatients by acting as a communication bridge between the patients and the food service providers. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service in a healthcare setting, providing them with a chance to contribute to patient satisfaction directly. The pay range for this role is competitive, ranging from $16.20 to $23.50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Additionally, there is a $500 sign-on bonus to welcome new employees to the team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be instrumental in coordinating nutritional needs among patients, nurses, dieticians, and kitchen staff. You will assist patients with room service orders, deliver meal trays, and ensure that every patient's dining experience is pleasant and meets their expectations. It is essential to have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism. Familiarity with menu items, dietary restrictions, and food service protocols will be highly beneficial. This role requires light to medium physical activity including walking, standing, pushing, and pulling within an industrial and clinical environment. • Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently
• GED or High School Diploma preferred
• 1-3 years experience in a customer service position
• 1-3 years experience in a food service establishment
• Working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Windows
