The available position is for a Host within the hotel’s restaurant, an essential role that directly impacts the first impression guests have upon arrival. This role requires a friendly, motivated individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly as they enter the restaurant, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your duties will include seating guests at clean, available tables, managing reservations for large parties by phone, and maintaining control during high volume periods outside the restaurant to ensure an organized seating process. The Host also plays a key role in monitoring the dining area to oversee seating availability, guest safety, and the overall well-being of diners. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in multitasking, and remain physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods during your shifts. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prior host experience preferred
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull up to 10lbs
• Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Certification in alcohol training (TABC or TIPS)
• Possession of Food Handler permit
