The position open is for a Rooftop Bar Host for the evening shift, offering a competitive hourly pay of $25.40. This is a full-time, non-management role based at the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort. As a Rooftop Bar Host, you will be the welcoming face for guests entering the bar area, responsible for greeting and seating guests efficiently while ensuring an exceptional level of service and attention to detail. This role is critical in maintaining guest satisfaction by managing seating arrangements, assisting guests with their needs throughout their stay, and ensuring that the environment is clean, organized, and inviting. The Rooftop Bar Host's duties include guiding guests to their seats, managing table setups, ensuring menus and utensils are clean and up to date, and continuously monitoring the dining area for guest comfort and safety. You will play an essential role in coordinating with other team members to deliver a seamless service experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, professional appearance, and a genuine commitment to the brand's high standards. You'll be expected to handle phones professionally, maintain confidentiality, and comply with all safety protocols. The role also involves standing or walking for extended periods and occasionally lifting or moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds, which necessitates a level of physical stamina.
