We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Hostess to join our team. The Host/Hostess will play a crucial role in creating positive first impressions as guests arrive at our establishment. Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests warmly, managing reservations over the telephone, and efficiently seating guests while maintaining a smooth flow between server stations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask under busy conditions. The Host/Hostess will ensure that table assignments align with proper rotation and guest preferences to maximize seating efficiency and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves relaying guest information to servers and bus persons to maintain seamless service. The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the dining room activity to ensure an organized and clean environment, as well as answering guest inquiries about operating hours, reservations, or directions. The position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a customer-centric attitude. Maintaining cleanliness at the host station, ensuring menus are clean and adequately stocked along with other supplies like pens and pencils, will also fall under the Host/Hostess’s duties. Supporting the team by providing backup coverage when necessary and completing side work tasks ensures smooth operations before, during, and after shifts. Candidates with previous experience in hosting or hospitality roles will be preferred, as familiarity with restaurant procedures greatly enhances performance in this role. A high school diploma or GED is desirable and eligibility to work in the United States is required. This role is essential in setting the tone for guest interactions and plays a significant part in shaping the overall dining experience at our restaurant.

• Previous host or hostess experience in restaurant or hospitality
