The role open for application is a Host/Hostess position responsible for the initial and final contact with guests, making it a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience. The person in this role will greet guests warmly, check identification when necessary, control the flow of customer traffic within the venue, and maintain guest areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the host will provide valuable information and conversation opportunities to guests while they await seating. The host introduces guests to their servers, accommodates special requests, and manages the complexity of seating arrangements using a table management system. Additionally, the host will have responsibilities such as answering phones, handling guest complaints by coordinating with management, and supporting inventory management by notifying supervisors about low stock and suggesting replenishments.

                - One year in a guest service position preferred
 - previous experience in a food and beverage environment helpful
 - good written and verbal communication skills
 - ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
 - ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
 - good judgment and decision-making abilities
 - high school degree or GED preferred

 - will be required to use physical capabilities including climbing and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
 - must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently
 - must be able to communicate clearly with guests in the primary language of the restaurant (primarily English)
