Hosts and Hostesses are the face of the restaurant, tasked with ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and well-attended to from the moment they arrive until they leave. The pay range for this role is based on experience, typically between $13.00 and $16.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive wages. The Host or Hostess responsibilities include managing the flow of the dining room efficiently by greeting guests warmly, managing wait times accurately, answering guest inquiries, and assisting with reservations and seating arrangements. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host station, lobby, and entryway, ensuring all sanitary and safety standards are consistently met. Hosts must learn the restaurant’s layout, including server sections and food delivery procedures, to facilitate smooth communication and service flow. Additional tasks include setting and clearing tables per P.F. Chang's specifications, assisting with curbside pickup and takeout processes, and performing shift-based side-work to support the overall team. P.F.
