The role of Host / Hostess at Nobu Del Coronado is a seasonal position that requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The pay rate is $21.68 per hour, depending on specialized experience and location. As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will be the welcoming face of Nobu, tasked with greeting guests, ascertaining their dining needs, and escorting them to their seats to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. This role is pivotal in maintaining the restaurant’s outstanding guest service standards and enhancing financial profitability for the establishment. Responsibilities include managing the seating chart effectively, monitoring dining flow, performing opening and closing duties, and assisting in various side work tasks such as cleaning and stocking. The position also requires responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, working cohesively with fellow team members and other departments, and demonstrating thorough knowledge of the menu.
