The Hospital Concierge position at NYU Langone Health offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) during the day shift, working 35 hours per week. This role is essential in supporting patient care activities by maintaining patient records, managing supplies, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for patients, families, and visitors. The Hospital Concierge acts as a critical liaison between the nursing unit and other hospital departments, facilitating smooth communication and coordination that enhances the overall patient experience. In this role, the Hospital Concierge is responsible for greeting and checking in arriving patients promptly, coordinating activities with unit staff, and delivering clear, courteous communication. This position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail who can effectively manage multi-line telephone systems and address patient and family inquiries with empathy and professionalism. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Competence in computer literacy including keyboard facility, data entry, knowledge of email, use of hospital intranet
• Experience with multiple telephone lines and telephone etiquette
