The Hospitality Service Support position at Hooters plays a crucial role in delivering this mission by ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience from the moment they enter the restaurant until they leave. This is a versatile role where employees will be cross-trained in three key areas: Host, To-Go, and Staff roles. As a Host, the employee is responsible for greeting customers warmly, managing seating arrangements efficiently, and supporting Hooters Girls by controlling the flow of the restaurant to maintain excellent service standards. The role requires a vibrant personality that can accommodate diverse guests including families, large parties, and business clients, and being knowledgeable about the menu and specials to answer any customer inquiries.
In the To-Go role, the Hospitality Service Support team member manages takeout orders received via phone, delivery apps, online platforms, and walk-in customers. This role emphasizes order accuracy, suggestive selling, and efficient packaging, along with handling payment transactions responsibly. Awareness of new menu items and specials is critical to provide outstanding service and promote sales.
The Staff role centers on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various areas such as the parking lot, front of house, restrooms, and potentially the bar area. This responsibility is vital in shaping the guests' perception of the restaurant’s atmosphere and overall experience. The Staff ensures that stations are fully stocked, clean, and orderly while assisting with food running duties as needed. Multi-tasking and prioritization skills are essential for efficiency in this dynamic environment.
