Coke Florida is currently seeking a Driver Assistant to join their team at the Hollywood location. This position requires individuals who are dependable, hardworking, and ready to contribute to delivering and merchandising beverages to various retail locations within the region. The role involves working alongside a Coke Florida Driver Merchandiser and requires significant physical activity, including lifting, pushing, and moving product loads as well as organizing inventory and maintaining product displays according to company standards. This position offers a schedule with shifts starting at 4:00 AM, working 4 days per week of 10-hour shifts, providing an excellent balance of work and personal time. As a Driver Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the company’s mission to deliver exceptional products at the right time to customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting with deliveries, unloading and merchandising products, rotating stock to ensure freshness, and managing inventory in the backroom. Maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent service are critical components of the role, as well as upholding Coke Florida's safety and appearance standards. You will need to work actively to identify and report unsafe conditions to help maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks involving lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 pounds, frequently pushing and pulling manually operated equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. You should be capable of standing for extended periods and walking significant distances throughout the workday. The position also requires adaptability to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions, reflecting the dynamic nature of beverage merchandising and delivery.
