This role primarily focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while supporting in-stock and delivery functions. The position requires engaging directly with customers to understand their needs, assisting with locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise, and ensuring products are delivered safely and on time. Part of the job involves verifying product condition, matching items to orders, and maintaining a secure and clean work environment adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive customer experience by communicating effectively, handling delivery logistics, and performing daily safety inspections. This role also offers opportunities to operate various store equipment and requires proper licensing, including CDL certification, for delivery vehicle operation. - Must be 21 years of age or older
- Class A CDL license for multi-unit CMV operation or Class B CDL for single-unit CMV operation
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass motor vehicle record screen
- Ability to comply fully with DOT and CDL regulations
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to obtain required sales-related licensure or registration
- Experience driving semi-truck or trailer is preferred
- Experience in-home delivery or retail customer service is preferred
- Experience operating forklifts or Moffett for loading/unloading is preferred
