The role of Housekeeper is vital to maintaining the hotel's reputation for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, including carpets, floors, furniture, bathroom fixtures, and linens. This includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, disinfecting, and replenishing supplies to ensure guest rooms are pristine and ready for new arrivals. The Housekeeper will also conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs such as lighting or plumbing issues and communicate these to the appropriate departments for resolution.
In addition to cleaning duties, the Housekeeper plays a key role in promoting a positive and respectful workplace culture by encouraging mutual respect, dignity, and integrity among all employees. This position requires adherence to all health and safety regulations and the proper handling of equipment and lost and found items. The role demands physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, pushing, and moving heavy objects, with the ability to handle up to 100 pounds regularly. This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License due to the casino environment.
