This particular role focuses on part-time food kit assembly with two shift options available: 1st shift working Sundays and Mondays from 7 am to 4 pm at a pay rate of $20 per hour for two days per week, and 2nd shift working Sunday from 4 pm to 2:30 am at a pay rate of $21 per hour for one afternoon shift weekly. The Food Kit Assembler is responsible for accurately assembling food kits per work orders, ensuring each kit meets quality standards and complies with all regulatory and company safety policies. Employees will move, gather, and distribute products based on production schedules, store materials appropriately, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and assist with related tasks such as compiling worksheets or tickets from customer orders and recording quantities of materials or items handled. This position requires comfort working in a fast-paced industrial setting, sometimes in extreme temperature conditions ranging from -20 Fahrenheit in cold storage to up to 100 Fahrenheit in dry storage, while wearing company-provided personal protective and freezer gear. Physical capability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds is essential, and employees should be able to adapt to varying noise levels encountered on the work floor.
